What is an EDI 866?
The EDI 866 Production Sequence provides the receiver of goods with the ability to request the order in which shipments or goods arrive at one or more locations and/or specify the order in which they are to be unloaded.
How to use an EDI 866?
An EDI 866 Production Sequence is used by the receiver to indicate which shipments arrive at which location and how they are to be unloaded. After the 866 Production Sequence is received, a 997 Functional Acknowledgment is sent back from the receiver indicating that the 866 Production Sequence was successfully received.
